OKR

OKR (Objectives and Key Results) is a goal-management framework that helps teams and individuals set, track, and achieve ambitious goals.

How it works

It works by setting a qualitative, inspiring Objective and several quantifiable Key Results that measure progress. This approach keeps goals aligned across the entire organization and focuses on delivering measurable impact, driving execution and growth.

Examples

  • 1.A product team sets "Improve user experience" as its Objective, with Key Results such as "Reduce app load time by 20%" and "Raise user satisfaction rating to 4.5 stars".
  • 2.A sales department sets "Expand market share" as its Objective, with Key Results such as "Increase new customer sign-ups by 30% this quarter" and "Reduce customer churn to 5%".
