Computer Vision

Computer vision is the technology that enables computers to 'see' and understand image and video content the way humans do.

How it works

It uses algorithms and models (such as deep learning) to analyze the pixels in digital images, identifying objects, scenes, and activities within them. This technology is at the core of many modern AI applications, enabling machines to perceive and interact with their visual environment.

Examples

  • 1.Automatically detecting and grouping faces in your phone's photo library
  • 2.Self-driving cars recognizing roads, traffic signs, and pedestrians
  • 3.Quality inspection on factory production lines, automatically spotting product defects
